Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. About Tremor

Tremor is a company risk monitoring service that uses publicly available data from Companies House to generate risk scores and alerts. By using Tremor, you agree to these terms.

2. Not a credit rating or financial advice

The risk scores provided by Tremor are a heuristic tool built from public Companies House data. They are NOT:

• A credit rating or credit score • Financial advice • A guarantee of a company's financial health or future performance • A substitute for professional due diligence

Tremor risk scores should be used as one input among many when making business decisions, not as the sole basis for any decision.

3. Accuracy of information

Tremor sources data from Companies House, which is a public register maintained by the UK government. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Companies House data may contain errors, omissions, or delays. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the underlying data.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tremor and its operators shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

• Reliance on Tremor risk scores or signals when making business decisions • Inaccurate or incomplete data from Companies House • System downtime or unavailability • Any failure to send or receive email alerts

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Tremor offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tremor to harass, defame, or harm any individual or company • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy Tremor's data or software • Use Tremor for any unlawful purpose • Share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Tremor application, brand, and risk scoring methodology are the intellectual property of Tremor. The underlying Companies House data is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

8. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Tremor at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
